Jimmy Shergill is back with new avatar in Aazam

The motion poster of Aazam has been released unveiling the look of Jimmy Shergill as Javed where he is shown in grey character and going with the rising over look. He has been shown above Mumbai‚Äôs iconic Gateway of India and fews chess materials scattered depicting his rise as the don in the city. Fans of crime thrillers are in for a treat as “AAZAM” looks all set to become one of the most talked-about films of the year.

Jimmy Shergill, Abhimanyu Singh, and Indraneil Sengupta come together for an explosive crime thriller that takes you Deep into the crevices of the Mumbai underworld. Directed by Shravan Tiwari and produced by T.B. Patel, the film also features an impressive cast, including Vivek Ghamande, Govind Namdev, Raza Murad, Sayaji Rao Shinde, Ali Khan, Anang Desai, Shishir Sharma, Sanjeev Tyagi and Mustaq Khan.

Commenting on his character in the film, Jimmy Shergill said, “I play the role of Javed, a close associate of Nawab Khan, who is one of the most powerful dons in the city’s underworld. Javed is a complex character with shades of grey, and I had a great time exploring his motivations and psyche.”

Set to release on 19th May 2023 in theatres, AAZAM promises to be an adrenaline-pumping ride, full of suspense and intrigue. The film revolves around the succession battle of a mafia don Nawab Khan, who controls the syndicate of five partners governing the city.

The film’s music is composed by Durga Natraj, with lyrics by Nawab Arzoo. The background score is by Karan Kunal, and the action is choreographed by Niraj Mishra. The cinematography is by Ranjit Sahu, with editing and a screenplay by Shravan Tiwari. The costumes are designed by Monika Srivastav, and the film’s Head of Production is Vishal Mall.
